The Unwritten Rules
Permadeath
You have a finite number of lives. When they run out, your character is "wiped," losing class, skills, and most items permanently.
Meta-Progression
A wipe isn't a total reset. Spend Mementos for account-wide bonuses and pass down one Legacy Item to your next character.
Alignments
Your actions affect your Purity or Chaos alignment. This hidden stat unlocks specific classes, quests, and gear. Choose your actions wisely.
The Community
Trust is a rare commodity. High-level players often hunt "freshies." Assume everyone is a threat until proven otherwise. Playing with friends is your best defense.
Your First Life
Choose Your Race Wisely
Kaoshin
Supreme defense & utility with teleports and dodges.
Novakid
Powerful ranged damage with fire immunity.
Dwarf
Sturdy and resilient, ideal for melee and learning combat.
Apex / Elf / Florian
Aggressive, nimble, or stealthy races for specialized playstyles.
Goblin / Terran
Economy-focused or a balanced "Jack of all Trades".
First 30 Minutes: Survival Plan
1. Activate Pylons
Your first priority. Locate and activate Pylons to build a fast-travel network, letting you bypass dangerous areas.
2. Get Early Silver
Loot "trinkets" from shelves inside buildings and sell them back to merchants to fund your first weapon and armor.
3. Avoid Veterans
Learn to identify high-level gear. A player with ornate, glowing equipment will kill you instantly. Run first, ask questions never.

Early Grind: The Sewer Method
Objective: Fill your "Codex" (XP bar) to learn a class.
1. Get Key: Find an NPC near the sewer entrance to get the Sewer Key.
2. Farm Lurkers: Kill Giant Lurkers inside the sewers. They give great XP and drop silver.
3. Loot Chests: The sewers are also full of chests for extra loot.
4. Server Hop: Leave and join a new server to reset all enemies and loot for continuous farming.
Adventurer's Arsenal
Build-Changing Relics
With over 70 relics, these are the core of build customization. They provide passive bonuses, new abilities, and can completely alter your playstyle.
Weapon Enchanting
Take weapons to an enchanter to imbue them with powerful effects like elemental damage or life-leech, scaling your power significantly.
Essential: The Glider
A vital mobility tool. Travel to the Badlands, climb the tall tower, and purchase it for 25 silver. It will save your life countless times.
Cheating Death
Craft Life Crystals
The ultimate safety net. Collect 4 rare Life Shards and take them to a Blacksmith to craft a Life Crystal, which restores one lost life.
Unseen Aid
A beginner's blessing. Gives a chance to NOT lose a life on death.
Warning: Only works for non-Ultra classes and is disabled in PvP.
The Rebirth Ritual
Turn a wipe into a win. Before your last life, unequip your best item. After wiping, pass it to your new character as a Legacy Item for a massive head start.
